How does the Coalition monitor government activities?
Government actions continue to have a substantial impact on the way health care is provided to the public. The move towards reform of the health care industry will provide an array of opportunities and obligations for health care providers.

The Coalition's lobbyists and technical experts analyze proposed regulations and legislation and then take necessary action to protect the interests of its members. The Coalition's members participate in Federal and State regulatory hearings, serve on committees and commissions dealing with health care issues, and possess special expertise allowing them to testify on key issues.

How does the Coalition serve as a networking source for PPOs?
By representing multiple health funds, the Coalition is afforded the opportunity to consolidate its buying power in order to negotiate more favorable rates with PPOs such as: physicians; hospitals; chiropractic therapy; dental care; hearing care; mental health benefits; physical therapy; prescription drug plans; and vision care.
